I have found more about my husbands gggrandmother and hope with what I write someone else may be working on these lines. Mary Coppee (Coppe/Coppy) born Jun 1840/1841 in France Married 5 times Wm. Hammonds, Jesse Daughtrey (Direct line), Charles Bougenon, Gustave Winkelman and finally James King. Only W. Hammonds died, all others divorced her. She was still living at the 1920 Census listed as Mary King. Her parents are: Ferdinand b. 1800 and Louisa Coppee b. 1804 both France. They appear in the 1850 McCracken Census. Their children: Adolph b. 1830 Felix b. 1833 William b. 1836 Louisa b. Apr 1837 d. 22 Mar 1932 (see marriage below) Mary b. Jun 1840 (above mentioned) Lucy b. 1843 (See marriage below) I have lost the parents and sons before 1860 Louisa married John Meunier b. Jan 1927 d. 4 May 1919 ----children---- John abt 1857. Frank (Ferdinand) abt 1859 married Rosie Louisa abt 1861 Charles A. "Gus" b. Jul 1864 married Mary Jane b. Sep 1866 ------> Chas and Mary children --- John Riley 8 Jun 1887 m. Lena-----> --------------->children John Orlando, Oneta, Geneva and Kenneth --------------------John Orlando married Estella Anderson with four children ------> Chas and Mary children ---Mary "Mamie" b. Aug 1888 ------> Chas and Mary children ---Charles Augustus b. 4 Apr 1890 married Audrey TATE -------------->Children Chas & Audrey---, Tate, Dorris, Marjorie and Charles Lucy married John Dalton b. abt 1838 TN and died before 1870 They were in Livingston Co in 1860 census. In 1870 she is living with sister Mary and brother in law Jesse Daughtrey. Can't find her in 1880, but she is living with John Meunier and sister Louisa. Lucy Dalton did not remarry and had no children as far as I know. If any one has cemetery books to look and see if these names are listed at all.
