Am seeking information on the family of GEORGE ELROD, born about 1826 in Kentucky and died between 1870 and 1880, according to census findings. On February 10, 1851, GEORGE married SUSAN COLLINS MCFADDEN in McCracken County, Kentucky. They had the following chilldren, Jerry, Thomas, Jeremiah, James, Susan, William, and Mary. SUSAN was previously married to Unknown McFadden and had one daughter, Mary in 1847. GEORGE ELROD was the son of JEREMIAH ELROD and SUSANNAH HARRIS. SUSAN COLLINS, sister to my GG-grandmother Elizabeth Rebecca Collins who married Jacob Vondach, was the daughter of Mary Unknown, and Unknown Collins. I am assuming GEORGE ELROD dies between 1870 and 1880; he is on the McCracken County census for 1870 and 1880 I find SUSAN ELROD living in Ballard County, widowed with her son William; SUSAN is living with her sister Maryann Collins Myers. I would like to know who SUSAN COLLINS parents were, where the family lived in McCracken and where they are buried.
