My friends - Today, we are returning to our review of Confederate pensioners in the JP region. The list below is the second installment in this series. The name of the pensioner and/or his widow is given and the county in which he resided when he, or his widow, applied for the pension. I have *no additional information* on these people, other than what is shown below. I have been reminded, too, that the Pogue Library at MSU also has these pension application on microfilm and that they do have a microfilm copier. Those who reside close to Murray should be able to visit Pogue and get copies of these pension applications. An update on the map situation, relative to the Marshall and McCracken maps - at this point, we have not reached the minimum of 25 for each map that is needed for the process to go forward in preparing a duplicating master and then having reproductions made. However, we are close to reaching that minimum for the Marshall County map, and the McCracken map is not far behind. I suspect that we will reach both minimums in the next 24 hours, as more folks express their interest. I will keep the lists continually posted on that matter. Tomorrow, we will have another biography from "History of Kentucky in 5 Volumes". -B ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Confederate Pensioners from JP Region - Part 2 Parham, William T.
