Henry Allen Evans, b Jul 1881 (probably Perry or Wayne Co., TN), d Jan 1931, Paducah, KY. (Henry Allen Evans was a brother to my grandfather, Wyatt Lemuel Evans.) Henry Allen Evans was the husband of Dora Magdaline (Ricketts) Evans, who was b 23 Jan 1890 in Perry Co., TN, and d 16 Jul 1925 in Paducah, also. When doing research that involves deeds, one often comes across land descriptions such as "northeast quadrant of Section 8, Township 6, Range 1 East". The Kentucky Secretary of State office has put online a copy of the 1885 Loughridge Geological map of the Jackson Purchase. You can search by range and township numbers or by place name.
