Moore & Margaret Willoughby and their descendants? Daniel Moore married Polly Willoughby on 10 April 1809 in Mason Co., Kentucky. Polly's father signed permission for her to marry. His name is John Willoughby. Witnesses were Mason Griffith and Jacob Hizer. The Griffith family is married into the Moore line of Bob Moore my DNA match. I found a consent to marry signed by John Willoughby: John Willoughby could not write his name. I also found the marriage bond. Surety was signed by Daniel Moore and Jacob Heizer. This was dated the 11th day of April. Daniel could sign his name, but Jacob Heizer could not. Daniel Moore was born in New Jersey and settled on the Mad River. He served in the Revolution in New Jersey. He died in 1838 and is buried with some of his family in the Moore Cemetery in Clark County.
