One way I can get original documents is to pay a nominal fee to a local genealogical research library. Many times, the reference librarian at the genealogy libraries will do a little bit of research for a nomimal fee. I wrote to the Museum Center is Maysville, KY for my ancestor's marriage record. Here is the address - Lynn David The Museum Center Mason County Museum 215 Sutton Street Maysville, KY 41056 They have the original marriage bonds for Mason County on microfilm and can make you a copy. The cost of this service is $5.00. For more than one document, the Reference Librarian will charge a research fee of $25 / hour plus $0.50 / document. She does outstanding work. Good luck, Nancy Corder Halvorson

    3. The only thing I wish I could find right now, is Jacob and Susan Trouts in the 1850 and 1860 census. I know they were here but I can't find them. Other than that I am doing ok. I am not going to do the pond till friday. That way when I refill it on Saturday, my grand daughter plays in it. It is about 2 and half feet deep and measures about 10 ft. by 15 ft. I love it, but it is horrible to clean! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Nancy Corder Halvorson" <nancy@halvorson.us> To: <KYMASON-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, August 08, 2005 2:14 PM Subject: Re: [KYMASON-L] Elizabeth Henry, Marriage bond or?
