Also John Hulet was the bondsman for the marriage of Machala Hulet and Dempson Hill in Mason co on 12 Jan 1830 Hope some of this helps Ken Downing ( native of Mason Co ) Hi, My research has led me back to Putnam Co., IN. from Henderson Co., IL., thur Davis Co., IA. My Grandmother Rose Evaline HULET's father was Madison Jackson HULET b. 15 Mar. 1854 in Davis Co., IA. His father was Joseph HULET or HULETT b. 22 Oct. 1822 Mason Co., KY. and his father was John HULET or HEULET b. 11 Mar. 1767 in New Kent, VA. John moved to Putnam Co., IN. from KY. in before 1833 and brought some of his 10 children with him. Several were married in Putnam Co., IN. Charlotte married Henry ELLIOT 24 Jul 1834 Kiziah married George HENTON 3 Dec. 1835 Catherine married Henry COFFMAN 4 Aug 1839 William married Lucy Ann WILSON 10 Jan 1844 John married Levina A. JOHNSON 19 May 1844 Joseph married Louisa Jane ADAMS 24 Feb 1846 John died in Putnam Co., IN. in 1851. It is not know if Sarah his wife died there around 1860? Joseph and Louisa moved on to IA. in or around 1850 after the 1850 Census was done for Putnam Co., IN. They had two children born in Putnam Co. Romania in 1847 and John D. in 1849. Would like any additional information on this family and would like to hear from any desendants of the above mentioned names. Maybe some are still living in the Co.
