Hi, HELP! We are about at the end of our rope searching for the marriage of this couple, so we are searching more counties in an attempt to find it. We are searching for more information on this couple. They were married about 1902 possibly in Campbell County. Unfortunately, they are not listed in the marriage index, because we have already checked it. Preston, their oldest child was born in Butler, Pendleton County, Kentucky. A kind soul looked in her book of Pendleton County marriages and their marriage was not listed in that book. Her father was George W. CALDWELL of Butler, Kentucky. Alice was born in Butler and she is buried in the IOOF Cemetery there. She died in Latonia in 1912 and left three small children, Preston, Marguerite and Valley S. without a mother. After her death we are not sure whether Charles W. remarried or not or just what happened to him. Charles W. according to the 1910 census was born in Tennessee and so were his parents. His father was Charles E. MILLER and he was also born in Tennessee. Charles W.'s mother was ......SWAIN. This has proven to be our brick wall.
