Am not sure about Porter and Cummings, but later there was Porter Funeral Home, also known as Porter and Clay. It was located on the 1300 block of East Second St. Ashby Porter, the owner, has long since passed away (about 30 years ago?) and his partner, Allan Clay, my Mom's second cousin, removed to Lexington (not sure if he's still living or not). The Funeral Home hasn't been in business for years, and I don't know if their records still exist or where they would be kept if they do. The property is now owned by Emerson Power Transmission and is used for parking, storage, etc. jedge05@earthlink.net wrote: This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Basically, I am hoping the funeral home will have information about the burial of John K. Edgington around August 7, 1896. Thanks, Jerry ==== KYMASON Mailing List ==== List problems?
