You would probably find most Giffords buried in the Shannon, Bethel, and Happy Ridge Methodist Church Yards in Mason County and various cemeteries in Robertson County than in the Maysville Cemetery. Most of them were from the Sardis/Mt Olivet area, not Maysville. Of course later Giffords were buried in Maysville & May's Lick Cemeteries, as well as in Ripley, Georgetown, And Manchester Cemeteries across the river in Ohio. You may also look in Poe Family Graveyards in Robertson and Mason Counties since the Giffords were related to them.
