    2. When I was a young baby in Maysville, 1935-1940, my father worked as a bartender for a man named Purdon. He owned a tavern on Forest Ave. (The tavern is still there) We lived in an appartment over the tavern. I can't rmember this Purdon's name but he had two sons and a daughter. One son was Clarence, Not sure but I think they called the younger son, Junior. The Daughter was I think Beulah Clark. She was my first grade teacher in the upper east end, First? Ward school. The school was torn down several years ago and now is a parking lot for Browning Manufacturing Co. Don Lee
