Elizabeth, Are you researching Flaghertys ? Did you get all the Flagherty/Flahertys out of the St. Patrick's register or just Patrick ? Did Patrick stay in Maysville all his life ? Do you know when he died and where he was buried ? I don't know if James and Patrick were related but they might have been. The marriage I have for James was in 1852. I don't know how old he was and haven't found either the Flaghertys or the Davis family on the 1850 or the 1860 census. 8 July 1852 James Flagherty Agnes Davis Bondsman: Martin Lee Do you have them on *any* census records? They might have been recent immigrants in 1851 or 52. Mine came about that same timeframe from County Wexford. Hopefully one or both of yours were alive yet in 1900 and you can find their immigration years.
