There may or may not be a Minerva Methodist Church still in existence. There being no phone number listed really doesn't prove anything, since it would be highly unlikely that the church would have a telephone. Many of the small rural Methodist parishes in Mason County share pastors, and are more or less unoccupied except on Sundays and Wednesday evenings. Sometimes they even have joint services at alternating churches. So, without knowing the name of the pastor or some other contact person, getting info about the church in question might be difficult. Here are a couple of suggestions : you might try contacting the nearby Germantown Methodist Church parsonage at 606-883-3349. This pastor would know if the Minerva Church still exists, and would most likely know who the pastor is ( it might even be him/her). Another option would be to contact Mrs. Jane Finn at 606-883-3474. She's more or less an institution in the Minerva community, and she's a well-known Methodist lay! woman.
