His 1st wife Thamur Clarissa Sherwood died about 1804. My GG grandfather was Elijah Pixley born 1802, son of Elijah and Thamur born in Adams County, Ohio. We have extensive family tree from this Elijah forward. We would be very interested in any and all data you may have that connects to ours. Plummer was, and is, a prominent surname in Lewis County, KY. Remember that Lewis County was a part of Mason County until 1803-04, or somewhere along in there. Also, you will find that a sizeable proportion of the population of Adams County, Ohio, emigrated there from Lewis County(they're across the River from one another). I'm not familiar with the Pixley family, but chances are they were not from Lewis County, since, to the best of my knowledge, no one from Lewis County served in the Confederate Army in the Civil War. Both Lewis County and Adams Counties were strongly pro-Union and abolitionist in their sympathies, and John Hunt Morgan's memory is still reviled in this area even today.
