Once to Martha Hughes, my great grandmother. I keep running across a Sarah Wells or Hughes. This was all in the 1890's. Also would like to know how Lafayette died.

Do you know who his father was? The reason I ask is that I have a book by Allan W. Eckert-"The Frontiersmen" which is chock full of Kenton information. His life and family. but I don't find a Lafayette Kenton as he was probably born after the period when the book ended.
