It should be 1829, not 1929/ I would appreciate information about Edward T. Davis,nephew of Elijah R Davis, who was in Concord KY in June 1835. Also information about David W. Davis snr, who wrote a letter to Elijah T. Davis from "Sencernarter" 23 Jan. 1829 while he was "on my way moving down to Arcansas territory with a 62 foot boat with all my goods my wife and family". HI. I have a William Davis who was born in KY on, the date I have, 17 June 1783. His middle name as we have it is David. I do not have any information on his parent, brothers, and sisters. Perhaps he is part of your Davis family? I know of a David Davis living in Mason county, KY at about the time that William David Davis would have been born. The interesting thing about this is that this David Davis bought land from a William Wood. This William Wood in the father-in-law to William David Davis. So maybe this David Davis is the father of W. D. Davis? What information do you have on your Davis family in KY? Could you please e-mail me?
