Sorry it's taken me so long to get into this conversation but I, too, have a Thomas Davis, bc 1750 Loudoun Co., Va (Quaker from Wales) m 1777 Rebecca Tribby, to Chester Co., Pa then to Rainsboro, Va and to Ohio by 1832. Thomas and Rebecca had Margaret eho m. 1805 John Brown, Joseph who died young, and John. John and Joseph were twins. John b. 1778, m. 1801 Sarah Hampton and had children: Dr. Thomas Hampton Davis, Joseph dy, Susan dy, MARY m. Aaron Miller, Rebecca m. 1820/25 Jesse Miller, Sarah m. 1835 Henry Spargur, Amanda m. 1834 Jesse Miller, Asahel m. Sophie Delaplane, Jonathan m. 1851 Bridget McHugh, and John Hampton 1812-1892 m.
