    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: McGraw, Collins Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/WBB.2ACI/3011.4.1.2.1 Message Board Post: I am going to rip out more of my hair if I don't stop finding so many errors. Ancestry.com has transcribed as: (this is a cut & paste, not me typing it) Marriage Records of Mason County, Kentucky Volume IV 1834-1844 Name: Hiram McGraw Spouse: Sarah Ann Collins Marriage Date: 08 Jun 1839 William Collins, B. In his Civil War records, Anthony lists his parents as Hiram & Sarah Ann Collins. One would think Anthony knew his mother's correct name! BTW, can you tell me what exactly the "B" stands for? Is it Bondsman or brother or ??? I've also see "F" & have assumed it meant father but right about now am no clear on anything! The more info I find, the less I seem to know, lol. This marriage of Hiram's is what keeps causing problems as someone, somewhere must have transcribed it as Isaiah m Sarah, same dates, blah, blah. To add to the fun, there's both the father & son named Isaiah, as you know. In addition to mixing up the brothers, several have mixed up the two Isaiah's. Even the LDS website has it wrong. Wonder how to get that corrected before 42 more people copy it...... Hiram had 3 kids, Anthony, Susan Jane & a Sarah B. McGraw. I can't find anything on Sarah B., b abt 1845 Mason CO, KY. Does your book list her? Don't know if she ever married or what happened to her. Thanks for any help
