We have extensive family tree from this Elijah forward. We would be very interested in any and all data you may have that connects to ours. We especially have been trying to find out more on a William Pixley, a member of John Morgan's Raiders in the Civil War. If interested, please use our email to respond.

Where did this census come from? I have the 1870 census from Ancestry and it is the same other than it didn't show (Johnson) as Nancy maiden name. I need it was Johnson but she was wondering why the census recorded are different. Yes, William & Nancy are older siblings. Don't have info., on Nancy though. The above family of Francis Rigsby (is first name is omitted on census on Ancestry) and Ary (Privette) isn't on census either, is the parents of John. I'm having problems finding any of them in the 1880 census. This is what I'm looking for. Thank you for everything. If anyone could help me locating a 1880 census for John & Nancy Rigsby with family would be much appreciated. Tina

Paula, I have been holding on to this letter for for a few weeks now. I don't know how it is all connected, but my dad Paul Dixon and his sister back in the 1930's had three cousins named Bayless: Icy, Maude, and Bertha. I believe their aunt's name was Alice Bayless. This was in Brown County, Ohio. Bertha became a Reighly. her husband was either mayor or police chief of Winchester, Ohio at the time. Either Icy or Maude had a son Howard. Bertha had a son Elmer. Do any of these names sound familiar? Thanks. George C.
