    3. Most all the Webers in Mason County are buried in St Patrick's Cemetery, in the Old Washington section of Maysville. They emigrated in the mid-19th century from either Bavaria or Alsace-Lorraine. There are still lots of Webers in Maysville. My late employer, Walter "Tater" Gallenstein, was descended from the Webers. He was German (Bavarian/Alsatian) on both sides. --- Betty Kokal <gbkokal@charter.net> wrote: > I would be grateful for a lookup for an Belle Ida > Weber, died Feb. 10, 1909 in Ohio but is buried in > Maysville. > Also looking for a Mary Hampton, John Hampton, > Edward Hampton. > > Thank you, > Betty Kokal > > > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email > to KYMASON-request@rootsweb.com with the word > 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and > the body of the message > ____________________________________________________________________________________ Don't pick lemons. 3. Just glancing at the online resources on the Mason Co. genealogy website, there's quite a few hits for Hickman. For example there's a Thomas Hickman who married a Rachel Jenkins 28 October 1799. There's also a John Hickman who was acting as the bondsman for another marriage. Have you looked for a will for either of those gentlemen? Maybe there's a son named William mentioned in one of them. http://www.rootsweb.com/~kymason/ Kathy ----- Original Message ----- From: <Mommahick@aol.com> To: <kymason@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, January 21, 2007 9:38 AM Subject: Re: [KYMASON] Mason County, KY Roll call > I'm researching Hickmans and Clinkenbeards that were in Mason County in > the > early 1800's. 2. I'm researching Hickmans and Clinkenbeards that were in Mason County in the early 1800's. William Hickman was born 21 Oct 1825 in Mason Co. His wife Rovina Clinnkenbeard was born 1832, somewhere in KY. Am looking for parents of William Hickman and more information about Rovina, whose parents were Isaac McClelland Clinkenbeard and Ivea Joss Allen. Anyone heard of these people? William, especially, is our brick wall. Analee Hickman

Courthouse any criminal proceedings for Walter C. Thoroughman. According to Circuit Court Orders - the Grand Jury returned an indictment against Walter in the December, 1950 term. I'm guessing he appealed because he didn't actually arrive at the La Grange State Penitentiary until May 8, 1951. It appears that at least part of his crime was committed in Mason County. Please contact me if this is something that you might be interested in looking up. Thank you.
