My friends - Pursuant to my pledge to notify everyone in our neck of the woods when the LDS data base web site came on-line, I can tell this morning that it is there, but only until 28 March, at which time it will be taken down and evaluated. The URL is: http://eval.familysearch.com/default.asp I suspect that you will have a hard time getting into the site - I had to try 16 times before I got in - it shows a "Server Too Busy" message. Perhaps they will enlarge the server capacity - if they wish to really get a sampling of how much use it will get, access will have to be available to people trying to get into the site. I was not overly impressed with what is there in this initial attempt, but there is great potential and I hope they will decide to leave it up and enlarge it as time goes on. -B ============================================================
