My friends - I am dropping by today to let you know that I now have another module in the JP land grants text files series ready. This installment contains a part of the "B" surnames. More specifically, the surnames contained in this file are: Bazzell, Badget, Baxter, Banks, Baldridge, Blackmer, Barlow, Barber, Ballard, Brady, Bratton, Blakeny, Baty, Bramit, Bagerm Baugh, Bayley, Barkeen, Beadles, Beadley, Beard, Beaty/Beatty, Beasley, bean and Beauchamp. If you would like a copy of this file, let me know and I will send it as an e-mail attachment unless you specify that you need it as a straight e-mail message(which often tends to skew the columnar alignments). You will receive the complete file - time constraints do not allow me to extract each individual surname from the file as a whole and send only those you may be researching. The file is not that large, and the parts you do not need can easily be deleted. Thusfar, we have the following JP land grants text files available: Smith Jones Brown Adams & Adair Allbritton Carter Copeland Farmer Helm Lovelace Parker Adkins - Alexander Alderson - Andrews Staton & Misc."S" Surnames(Part - see original post) "G" Surnames(Part) - see original post for exact surnames "C" Surnames (Part), including Cochran, Cocke, Cook and Cooper "P" Surnames (part) "L" Surnames (part) - 2 files (see original post for names) "R" Surnames (Part) - see original post for exact surnames.
