A Randy Dunavan kindly did a lookup in "The Rolling Fork Settlement" by Gerald Thompson and found John and Dorothy Bowles Abell! Six of their eight children are also included. Parents for Dorothy are given as Anthony and Alathaire Bowles, and Alathaire is all that's listed for John. Any ideas? John and Dorothy were married in Wash Co. on 1/21/1825. Also, George W. Abell's date of death is listed as 4/16/1914, which confirms that he is buried right there at HNOM in Marion Co, according to the church records posted on the GenWeb site for Marion Co.
