Greetings List, The geneology pursuit must have been fostered by the hard-drive and other mass storage cabals. My storage capacity runneth over and my bandwidth is being tested. What a great technology!? This is another statement of interest and invitation for responses from list members regarding: Newcome - Hattie Florence (Aunt Hat or Duke) Harry Raymond (Dead Ready) William Matthew (Lardy) Hugh Burress? (My grandfather who was killed in a road construction accident near Three Pines Road) Newcomb - Harry H. (Hall) Sapp - Blanche (My gm's - Hattie - sister-in-law) Hugh (My gm's brother who went to Cuba with the Rough Riders) Burress - Any and all pertinet information. This is the most mysterious and unknown (to me) of my relations. Bland - John Marcus (mrd. Mary Ellen Logsdon) - maternal gps John and Mary Horan Bland (my maternal great gps.) Logsdon- Steve and Martha (Willet) -Mary Ellen Logsdons Parents An aside- I never knew that the spelling of the area on CR 337 known as the "Narrows) had an "row" in it. As late as my dad's funeral in 1988, when stories about my dad were being shared with me, the story of the lost Redbone coon hound ( a passion for my dad) took place in the "Nar's". Thank goodness for the USGS and their great maps. The maps that I use for daily reference in my "geneo" endeavors are available from DeLorme (http://www.delorme.com) My thanks for the individual responses and a big thanks for Vickie's Census Work.
