I have been asked what several of the columns mean. There is the HH#, The family #, Surname, Given name, age, Sex, Race (if other than White), Occupation, Real Estate Value, and the comments of Married within the past year, Being over 21 and unable to read or write, and if the person had attended school within the past year. As for the districts, there were two separate census takers, neither gave townships or locations, just a note here and there saying which district. But from what I know of the area (which isn't much) the first district covers the west part of Marion, Loretto college, the area connecting Larue and hardin Counties. This probably doesn't help anyone as far as my direction go, I get turned around in my own bathtub. Have a good day, vickie
