Am looking for the wedding date for Joshua Taylor and Amanda Blankenship in Marion County. I'm told they married between 1860 and 1880. Does anyone have an 1870 Marion County census to see if they appear? Joshua died in Marion County int he 1870s and is supposed to be buried on the old Major Levin M. Drye farm. The tombstones were removed, so we cannot locate the grave, but have visited the site. It makes it extremely difficult to find one's ancestors when graves are, in my humble opinion, desecrated.
