Hello everyone, I'm new to the list. Searching for information on my gggrandparents, who lived in Marion County. Thomas J. MILES b. 12/20/1835 and wife, Martha J. DUNCAN b. 6/4/1846. Thomas and Martha had 10 children, 4 before relocating to Decatur, IN between 1864 and 1867. Mary F. MILES b. 6/2/1860, John F. MILES b. 2/16/1862, James L. MILES b. 9/30/1863, Robert T. MILES b. 10/08/1864. Rest of children born in IN - Elsworth MILES b. 10/29/1867, Oscar L. MILES b. 8/6/1869, Con L. MILES b. 03/1871, Daniel B. MILES b. 10/07/1872, Frank MILES b. 2/21/1876, and Walter H. MILES b. 2/5/1881. Family was devote Catholic, would love to know what parishes existed in or near Marion County around 1840-1860.
