Greetings! My grandmother Mary Victoria Dant was born in Marion County in 1913. I have been very successful in tracing her paternal side thru the Dants and Blairs thru published records of Marion County churches at Louisville's Filson Club and finding headstones in the Marion County Catholic Church cemetaries. I haven't had much success with my grandmother's maternal side, though and that is why I am seeking help. Looking for info on James Monroe Wimsatt, b. 1859 d. 1930 in Jefferson Co, buried in Henderson/Daviess Co. and Genevieve "Jennie" Buckler b. 1865, d. 1922, also buried in Henderson/Daviess Co. (actually at Stanley's St. Peter Catholic Church -- not sure which county it is in). My g. grandmother attended Mary Victoria Wimsatt (married James Lancaster Dant) attended Mount St. Joe boarding school in Maple Mount, Daviess Co., KY at the turn of the century and census records showed her family was living in Daviess Co. at the time.
