It seems that in Kentucky there are about 3 catholic families, and 1 or 2 Thompson families that are not catholic. Sometime before 1880, Caroline Thompson b. 6-03-1855 St. Mary's, Ky d. 9-30-1897 Loretto, ky, married Joseph Milburn Thompson b. 7-25-1850 where ? d. 9-25-1917 Loretto, Ky. We have heard that they were 2nd cousins. Descendants of these two individuals, that are alive today, do not know who the parents of Joseph Milburn Thompson are. Caroline's parents are Daniel B. Thompson and Malinda Mattingly. We can trace Daniel & Malinda's ancestors for several generations. Joseph Milburn Thompson's ancestors have yet to be discovered. Can anyone help?
