February 3, 1832 Ellender Thompson married Charles Greenwell. John C. Thompson was the bondsman. Sometime after that she married Peter Mattingly and had two daughters. Anna "Nannie" Nancy Mattingly was born June 8, 1838, in St. Mary's, Ky. And, Anna "Mary" Mattingly was born May 17, 1840, in St. Mary's, Ky. We can't find the marriage record of Peter Mattingly & Ellender Thompson Greenwell. We can't find a death of Charles Greenwell. We cannot find the death of Ellender Mattingly either. Anna "Nannie" Mattingly is my Great-Great Grandmother and Anna "Mary" Mattingly is my Great Grandmother. I descend from both of these women. Does anyone know anything about Charles Greenwell or especially Ellender Thompson Greenwell Mattingly?? Dolores Bohn
