FYI to the List Volume I "The Rolling Fork Settlement" by Gerald Thompson. Great publication for those tracing families from St. Mary's County to Washington and Marion, Counties, Ky during the 1700 and 1800s. I am thrilled about the data, since I am a new comer to working St.Mary's and Washington/Marion County, Ky folks. For those that are not familiar with it......... It's a alphabetical listing of some 1800 individuals and connects them to their parents, spouse, and children with dates and location as well as 1850 census info It's a combination of data from many Genealogies. Like: Clement-Spalding Thomas Hill & Rebecca Miles O'Daniel The Mudd family Robert Wathen Family the 3 books of The Jarboe Family Robert Thompson Rapier Hayden and Allied Families Spalding Family The Boarmans and etc................. And a number of reference and historical publication. I stumble on it at the Dallas public library and made a copy of about half the pages. I am amazed on how so many of the families are inter mingle. When entering the names in the family file I found out quickly that I needed to return to copy the rest of the book. Here are the corrections for those on the list who are interested. 1853 Births Misspelling. Instead of Molohom Should read: Lanham, Peter & Mary Ann MOLOHON Mispelling and incorrect first name. Instead of Molohom, Richard Should read: Molohon, Benedict Joseph and Sarah Ann Lee 03/24/1853 Theresa Molohon F White I have seen this written as Molohon, Richard in printed records as well and cannot figure out where the Richard came from. Benedict Joseph Molohon is my gg grandfather. Mary Ann Molohon was his older sister. Vickie and List, I was extremely interested in the 1855 Birth list refered to above. Reuben W. Hunt was my greatuncle. However, and here is the rub, my information shows that Reuben W. Hunt and his wife, Marium H. Shipp had a daughter named Melvina Jane, not Melvina Pam, and she was born June 16 1855, not Dec. 16, 1855. Of course I have been wrong several times in the past, but my sources on this one are pretty good. I would be interested to know what source your microfilm was from.
