If you are interested in the Salyer History you can order from your library a book written by Elisabeth Salyer called the Salyer Family. It is out of print now and was written in the early 1980's very good history on many of the Magoffin County Families - Howards, Risners and more listed thru the book also. I had to get my research while at the library as it is not allowed to be removed from the building. I copied the info I needed. Also Mag. Co. Hist. Soc. has a very complete family history on the Patricks. My grgrgrmom was Charlotte Patrick who married Hiram Patrick. Charlotte had a dau.my grgrmom named Eunice Salley by a Nathan Salley from Breathitt Co. before she married Hiram Patrick. for more info please let me know. Kaye
