Hi Scotty, There are many Risners in eastern Kentucky, Floyd, Leslie, Magoffin counties. They inter-married with Howards and Shepherds. I don't have any specific information as they are not my direct lineage. The old Magoffin Historical newsletters are a good place to start finding information on the Risners.
