We participated in Founders' Day last year in Salyersville that celebrated the decendants of both John ( our line ) and James Hamman, originally of Bloomington, a small town on the border of Morgan and Magoffin Counties. There is a book being published by the Magoffin County Historical Society , including pictures, re this family. I believe it is out either later this year or next year.
