The Historical Society and others have done a fine job researching this Bailey family. Most of the Bailey family lived in the extreme southern part of Magoffin Co. near the Knott Co. border. If this Henry Bailey served in the Civil War, we have been looking for his grave. The Henry Bailey I am looking for is buried on Bullmire near the head of Licking. We have made several trips. We can find the signs of the old home site and we think the grave is not far from that. There is a Civil War marker for his grave if we ever find it. I think I am looking for Henry C. Bailey.
