Constance. Last year was "Whitaker Founders Day" [I am a Whitaker]. I know they have markers ordered for both your Hammond SR and Hammond JR. Just recently they cleaned off the cemeteries. I found the Whitaker Founders day very rewarding and met many cousins there. Many I had never Known and a few I had only met on the internet.
