Your great-great-grandfather, James W Pennington was my great-great-great-grandfather. After him, my line is as follows: Isaac Green Pennington, b. 1860, m. Ellen Creech Virgie Celia Pennington, b. abt. 1886, m. George Washington Slone Oshel Conrad Slone, b. 1911 - was my grandfather (his picture is here: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/%7Efmitchel/sloan/photos/OshelCSlone.jpg ) My records on the Pennington line are pretty sketchy, but I have your great-grandfather Henry C (who happened to have a twin, Martin N) as one of James and Celia's 11 children, so it looks like we have a match!
