Freddie: Would you consider taking a look for a Eliza Ann (Helton) Hamon Montgomery? She married Hezekiah Hamon and then married Benjamin Montgomery after Hezekiah's death in Richmond, VA. She is in the 1870 census in Salyersville, but not in the 1880 and Ben has a new wife named louisa. Also Benjamin Hamon, Sr. and his wife Sarah are said to be buried in the Hamon Cemetery, Edna, Magoffin County. Are they in your books? Are the cemetery books expensive? Did you get them through the Historical society or were they privately published? Constance
> > Constance, This is what I have in my cemetery books on Benjamin Hamon: The only listings I found are for 1. Hammon, Benj. Sr. b. (blank) d. 11 Aug. 1882, age 82 years; and Hammond, B.F. b. (blank) d. 10 Jul, 1867. Don't know if this helps. My books came from the Magoffin County Historical Society, and you can order them online (kind of) the website is http://www.rootsweb.com/kymhs Stacey PS: There is also a link on Gloria's site. > > > ==== KYMAGOFF Mailing List ==== > To contact the List Admin: mailto:[email protected] > > To unsubscribe send an email to: [email protected] > (In Digest Mode change the "L" to a "D") with the word unsubscribe in > the body of the message. > > ============================== > Search the US Census Collection. I guess I have been to Old John's grave and had forgotten. He is in the John D. Blanton Cemetery on Beartree, where his daughter Elizabeth Blanton is buried. He has a stone, but no dates on it. His wife has B. 21 Oct. 1810, d. Apr. I will make a point to go back there. Oh, Todd... S PS> John C. Pace has his own cemetery, and has a stone, but no dates. He was in Co. I, Ky 14th Infantry, so there might be some neat stuff on him. -----Original Message----- From: John F.
