Wiley is the brother of my GGgrandfather Miles Cook. They were sons of William Clayton Cook and Sarah Prater. Wiley married a Deliah /Deliah Nickell In the 1867 Roll of Honor (Civil War Deaths), there is a Wiley Cook who died on the same day as the Willis Cook listed above-April 17, 1864 On the Roll of Honor, Wiley Cook was ifirst buried at Paducah, KY where a battle was fought on March 25, 1864. Died April 17, 1864. He was listed as being a part of 1st Kentucky artillery, heavy, Company B. He is listed as being buried at Mound City National Cemetery in the same section (D) as the Willis Cook listed aboveThe grave for Wiley is 3727. Can't find anything about this military unit. The Ntl Archives wer not helpful.
