The Taylor Pace I found is 7 years old in 1880. That matches your DOB. I found Mathew T. Pace in 1900 as well as a 27 year old man with his own family, wife Emily Jane, Gertie, Molly and Ella. I wonder if the funeral pamphlet is a misprint, like so many tombstones end up being? My Spence family puzzled for years over a tombstone unearthed while repairing a street in Charleston, WV. The dates were incorrect, so was the name...turns out it was a tombstone ordered but botched up. The stone maker tossed it and it ended up helping to build a foundation for a street! Does anyone have access to the newspapers on Ancestry? I am trying to find information on Lacy Wireman he died in Michigan. I thought maybe there would be an article about his death or maybe an obit. Ok Sharon. I do know that the Williams, Brown's, Coffee's and Lykins intermarried from that area but don't know the first names of most of them. I have been watching and hoping someone would have a list of the ones buried in the Coffee cemetery at Grape Creek. Elijah and Alfred Brown are at Grape Creek. Yes, there is a connection but it is very very far back. If I am correct our family lines both connect with James Henry Patton and Florence Graham. James Henry and Florence's son John would be my gggggggrandfather. If I am correct James Henry Patton would be Leander's gggrandpa. I hope this makes sense,lol!
