Hello everyone. Happy New Year! We are trying to find information on a landscape artist working in Lyon County late in the 19th century. A work depicting Silver Cliff Park on the Cumberland River in Kuttawa signed by “CEB.” has been found and we would like to know the name of the artist. Any help or ideas appreciated. Peggy, I read a story quite some time ago about Landscape designers of that time frame. They often traveled long distances to do their work and got little credit for it in the outlying areas but were famous in Washington DC. My best guess is Charles Bizet from France. He worked in the US. In those days they were called Landscape designers later called Landscape Architects.
