Does anyone have any information on his family and especially his ancestors? There was also a David Davidson on the 1800 census in Edgecombe County, NC, but I do not know if this was the same man. I am trying to see if this could have been the David Davidson from Buckingham County, VA who fought in the Rev. War (actually joined the militia in nearby Prince Edward County, VA by at least 1776). This David Davidson should not to be confused with the David Davidson from Charles City County, VA, who married Mary Maza Philips, who also served in the Rev. War and who died in Halifax County, VA).
