She was born in 1874, so this is not the Martha that I"m looking for. The birthdate is off by 30 years. But it may be a clue that will help me find the rest of the family! Here's what I have on the McCay family: They were found in Logan Co., KY in the 1880 census. Edward McCay b. 1831 in GA, d. 1902 in GA Lavinia (Williams) McCay b. 1825 in GA, d. unknown Their children (Found in the 1850 & 1860 GA census): Rhoda Ann McCay (Not in 1880 census)Possibly married a Hays/Hayes Rosa McCay (Not in census)Possibly married a Lee Amanda McCay (Not in census) Ephraim McCay (Not in census) Grandchildren living with them in the 1880 census: Martha Lee b.1874 John Hays b. 1870 This is all the info I have on these children and grandchildren. Lavinia died, and Edward returned to GA, married Polly Thomason and had a son. I am descended from the son of this second marriage. Thanks so much for your help!!
