Hi Sherron, I have Solomon Parks McIntosh as the son of Cornelius McIntosh that married Sally Montgomery and lived in Logan County, Ky. Cornelius is the son of William McIntosh whose will is dated 16 Nov 1798 in Logan Co., Ky. His wife was Nancy. Some say her name night have been Benton. This group appears to go back to Caswell Co., NC. The McIntosh's were there in the 1780's before migrating to Robertson Co., TN and Logan Co. Ky. William lived on the Big Whipporwill in Logan County with the Boren and Smith families living near them. William's estate was not settled until 1814. I don't know anything about who Solomon Parks McIntosh married. I think he was born 1816. But his siblings are: i. Malindy Talbert McIntosh ii. John Anglin Mcintosh 'iii. Nancy Ann McIntosh iv. William Carrell McIntosh. Malindy Talbert McIntosh , John Anglin McIntosh all came to Union Co., IL. I am not sure who they married. Before Caswell Co., Nc this group of McIntosh's were in Culpeper Co., Va and probably Orange Co., Va. Hope this helps you. I'm interested in Solomon Parks McIntosh, and his wife Betsy Edmonston, and would appreciate anything that you might be able to tell me about them. Did they eventually move to Illinois with so many others of this family? There definitely is a connection with these early McIntosh records of 1807 and especially 1809 with the deposition. I have posted a lot. If no answers I guess no one has any thing to help. In case of that thank you for your time in reading my postings. > > Best Wishes, > > Marianne Dillow > Illinois > > >
