I think his story is that he had a first wife, Cinthia, with whom he had two children, George and Sarah. Then when Cinthia got sick, a woman named Elizabeth Taylor came to live with them (1850 census in District 2, Warren co., KY). He then married Elizabeth Taylor in 1851 and had 6 children with her. I descend from Robert Gibbs, one of his children with Elizabeth Taylor.
