Marthas was born approximately 1840. Believe Nickolas died prior to 1910 since Martha is listed as a widow living with her daughter Margaret Tennesee Davis in Knoxville TN according to the 1910 census. Martha's death certificate lists only Butler for the surname of the father and Kentucky for birthplace. No name for mother. Martha and Nickolas's children were Nickolas M, Hugh Grant, Jim, Joseph Claiborne, Tom, John, Nannie, Ellen, Sarah and Margaret Tennessee.
