Just wondering if pioneers moving into Logan Co. in the early 1800's used The Cumberland Gap to travel from MD? Thanks! Linda

I know my families from VA PA came into ky took the Cumberland river to an area near Clarksville tn and took the red river into logan county. I am sure they used the Cumberland gap and came into Logan some families. Others came the Ohio andup the Cumberland and red river.
