Write to the Logan County Genealogical Society, Inc., P. O. Box 853, Russellville, KY 42276-0853 and ask for a free scan of county records on the couple. Include approximate dates they were in the county and anything else that would help identify them. Let the clerk know what you already have (census, marriages, children, deeds) so she does not have to search areas you have already covered. You may also send the request to logankyarchives@att.net Include your snail mail address and we'll get the list to you and then you choose which original records you need copied. We scan county court records minus deeds (wills, settlement, marriages, cemetery, family files, deeds if before 1813, war records if they could have been in Civil War, census from books if you have not covered this one) and civil circuit court records, equity and ordinary but no criminal records. Judy, The Logan County Genealogical Society has been awsome to work with. Candice has gone above and beyond herself when Ive either e-mailed or have called there. I was mainly posting this to see if there were any long lost cousins out there. Thank you for suggesting the Society they do great work.
