    3. Our Gibson's and related families migrated to that area from South Carolina where they had settled from NC and Virginia, from what I have read & seen they came up from Tn. There was an old wagon trail from Knoxville to Nashville, then up through what is now the Hopkinsville area so I am figuring mine probably came up that route from the best I can tell.
