I know my mother came to Logan County in a Covered wagon in 1925 age with her parents to visit her mothers, mother and father and uncle Bill and family It took them 7 days to make the trip Bailey Peyton Cassity, Callie Beatrice Climer Cassity, 6 children, Oakley, Aline, Manson, Hester, Laura Etta and Viola, also on the trip was William Stanton Climer and Wife Bessie and their children and she was pregrant at the time. They visited James Manson Climer and Viola Virgina Hughes Thomas Climer, and also visited Uncle William Jefferson Thomas Hughes and Margaret Isabell Duke Hughes I know some said it would tale about 2 or three months from Jackson County Tn by water to the red river meets the Cumberland close to Clarksville TN and then take a covered wagon and follow the red river to Logan County. As far coming from PA and VA, Sometimes they would stay in a place for a while and then move on. Other times they kept traveling and it took months. This is the best I can tell you from my research Jeannie -----Original Message----- From: kylogan-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:kylogan-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Linda Holley Sent: Thursday, April 01, 2010 2:55 PM To: kylogan@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [KYLOGAN] Migration Do you have any idea how long the trip took them?
